There are a lot of places to eat when you are in the Destin area. The Blue Iguana was one of those places that you pass right on the highway and always wonder about. A family friend had eaten there so a couple of my family members wanted to try it out. It had okay but not amazing reviews so I was a bit skeptical, but I figured why not give it a go. Overall we had a very good experience. We had a larger group, but were able to get in. The place is large, and it was moderately filled. The service was good and the waiter was very attentive. There is a good variety of food options, and everyone liked what they got. There was also a kids' menu which is always a huge plus. The costs was reasonable for what we got, and overall I have no complaints. I had a much better experience here than at many of the more well known locations where you have to wait an hour plus to get seated.
